The client was experiencing significant delays and high operational costs due to an outdated inventory management system and inefficient logistic processes.

The primary challenge was to identify the key bottlenecks within their supply chain without disrupting ongoing operations. Moreover, the client was concerned about the potential risks associated with overhauling their existing systems and processes.

Strategy and Solution:

To address the challenges, I employed a systematic problem-solving approach:

1. Data Analysis: I began by collecting and analyzing data from various points in the supply chain to identify patterns and pinpoint areas that required improvement. This involved using data analytics tools to assess inventory turnover rates, lead times, and delivery schedules.

Outcome:

As a result of the solutions implemented, the client experienced a 25% reduction in inventory holding costs and a 30% improvement in delivery times within the first six months. Customer satisfaction scores also increased due to the more reliable and efficient supply chain operations.
