Demonstrating Curiosity and Upskilling

Recognizing the shift toward 'Autonomous Finance' in 2026, I spent the last six months self-studying Python for predictive modeling and earning a certification in Cloud Architecture. While my primary role is in strategy, I realized that I couldn't effectively advise clients on their future operating models without understanding the underlying tech stack. I applied this new knowledge during a recent project for a retail client. Instead of just providing a static PowerPoint on 'potential' efficiencies, I built a basic Python script to scrape their historical data and demonstrate exactly where their supply chain bottlenecks were occurring. This 'tangible proof' significantly accelerated the client's decision-making process. I chose this path because 'Curiosity' is one of the traits Deloitte looks for—the world is changing too fast to rely on last year’s knowledge.
