How have you applied project management methodologies in a complex, multi-department initiative?

In one of my previous roles at a large multinational corporation, I was responsible for managing a complex initiative that involved coordinating efforts across multiple departments, including IT, HR, and Finance. To effectively manage this initiative, I applied several project management methodologies, with a special focus on Agile and Waterfall approaches, as well as incorporating elements of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
