This was a complex technical problem, as we were dealing with multiple potential sources of the overload, including inefficient code, server misconfigurations, or increased user load exceeding our projections.

The situation required immediate attention, so I began by assembling a cross-functional team that included developers, network administrators, and support engineers. Our first step was to systematically gather data to understand the scope and nature of the problem. We implemented monitoring tools like New Relic and Nagios to gain visibility into server performance and application logs.
