What you will accomplish in this role
As the Senior ML Ops Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between data science and engineering, ensuring the seamless deployment and scalability of our machine learning models. You'll lead a dynamic team, guiding them through best practices in ML Ops, from continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) to model monitoring and governance. Your expertise will be crucial in accelerating our AI-driven initiatives, enhancing our product capabilities, and achieving operational efficiency.
What you will do in this role:
Design and implement robust ML Ops pipelines to automate model training, deployment, monitoring, and management.
Lead and mentor a team of ML Ops Engineers, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous learning.
Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to ensure models are production-ready, scalable, and maintainable.
Develop strategies for model versioning, testing, and deployment to facilitate a seamless and efficient development lifecycle.
Monitor model performance and data drift, implementing automated alerts and processes for model retraining and optimization.
Stay at the forefront of ML Ops trends, tools, and technologies, integrating new approaches to enhance our ML operations and infrastructure.
What qualifications you will need:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI or related field - Required
Master's degree - Preferred
4+ years of experience in computer science, engineering or related technical field – Required
1+ years of experience in ML Ops, DevOps, or DataOps initiatives, with a solid understanding of machine learning model lifecycle management - Required
Expertise in software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) - Required
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) - Required
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor team members and collaborate effectively across functions – Required
Work Location/Schedule:
Remote - M-F, 8am – 5pm - Central Time
Travel Required:
This job requires travel to Nashville, TN to attend final interview, 3-day New Hire Orientation, quarterly team meetings, and other travel on as-needed basis
