JOB TITLE: Systems Engineer II
LOCATION: North Reading, MA (remote flexibility available)
DURATION: 9 months
PAY RANGE: $55 - $65/hr.
TOP 3 SKILLS:
3+ years with mechanical, electrical, IT, or software systems.
2+ years with technical drawings/CAD models in field settings.
Experience with high-travel roles.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, and commission robotic systems in fulfillment centers.
Lead on-site deployment teams (1-5 engineers).
Collaborate with stakeholders (installers, engineers, IT, etc.).
Solve real-time problems and drive process improvements.
Develop technical documentation and modify processes.
Manage project KPIs (on-time, cost, quality, safety).
Collect and report data for decision-making.
Travel extensively (75%) within the US.
Required Skills:
Engineering BS degree (STEM).
3+ years with mechanical, electrical, IT, or software systems.
2+ years with technical drawings/CAD models in field settings.
1+ year troubleshooting complex systems.
1+ year using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
Proficiency in technical documentation and office software.
Expertise in robotics and electro-mechanical systems.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage teams and schedules.
Valid US driver's license.
Preferred Skills:
Networking fundamentals knowledge.
Experience with high-travel roles.
Data-driven decision-making experience.
LEAN/Six Sigma familiarity.
Independent initiative.
