Description/Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead complex, enterprise-level programs involving multiple interdependent projects. This role requires a strategic thinker who can operate independently, manage significant budgets, and communicate effectively with executive leadership while navigating challenging stakeholder dynamics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Leadership & Strategy
Lead end-to-end program management for large-scale, multi-project initiatives
Develop and maintain comprehensive program roadmaps, schedules, and deliverables
Coordinate dependencies and resources across multiple concurrent projects
Drive program-level decision-making and issue resolution
Ensure alignment between program objectives and organizational strategy
Financial Management
Manage program budgets $1M+
Track and report on financial performance, forecasting, and variance analysis
Develop business cases and ROI justifications for program investments
Oversee vendor contracts and resource allocation across projects
Stakeholder & Executive Communication
Present program status, risks, and recommendations to C-suite executives
Prepare executive-level presentations, dashboards, and status reports
Facilitate steering committee meetings and executive decision forums
Translate complex technical concepts into business-focused communications
Build and maintain relationships with senior leadership across the organization
Team & Resource Management
Lead cross-functional project teams without direct reporting authority
Navigate and influence difficult personalities and competing priorities
Partner effectively with Product, Technology, and Business teams
Mentor junior project managers and team members
Foster collaboration across organizational boundaries
Risk & Issue Management
Proactively identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies
Manage escalations and resolve complex, cross-project issues
Maintain program risk registers and issue logs
Drive accountability for risk mitigation actions
Tools & Process Management
Oversee Jira boards for program and project tracking
Maintain resources and project financials in Planview
Establish and enforce program governance and reporting standards
Ensure compliance with PMO methodologies and best practices
Qualifications:
Education & Certification
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred
Additional certifications (PgMP, Agile, SAFe) preferred
Experience
10+ years of progressive program/project management experience
Proven track record managing programs with budgets exceeding $1M
Experience leading enterprise-level technology or business transformation programs
Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects within a program structure
Technical Skills
Expert-level proficiency with Jira (workflow management, dashboards and reporting)
Strong experience with Planview or similar PPM tools
Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Excel financial modeling, PowerPoint executive presentations, MS Project)
Experience in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project methodologies

Exceptional executive-level written and verbal communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail in planning, tracking, and reporting
Strong stakeholder management across all organizational levels

The salary range for this opportunity is $105,300 to $147,400. Compensation depends on several factors: qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
