Role Summary/Purpose:

Synchrony is on a mission to build a world-class Marketing Organization that delivers exceptional results for our retail and payment partners – while creating unforgettable customer experiences. As part of our Marketing Organization, the Document and Content Management Team owns multiple platforms, drives the creation, updating and maintenance of all digital and printed regulatory-required collateral for private label and bankcard products.

We’re looking for a Graphic & Production Artist to serve as the subject matter expert within DCM to own the creation and maintenance of various regulatory-required collateral, design and layout of team materials (SharePoint site, presentation layouts, job aids). Utilizing Office 365 and Adobe Creative Suite, this role delivers both printed and digital collateral, collaborates with internal clients, creative agencies, and external vendors. This role also ensures all deliverables comply with brand standards, legal, regulatory, and retention guidelines while proactively addressing challenges and communicating effectively with project managers and leadership. A commitment to continuous improvement is essential, focusing on streamlining processes for greater efficiency, cost savings, and standardization, all while maintaining an exceptional accuracy rate.

Occasionally you may be required to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as business or team meetings, training and culture events.

Essential Responsibilities:

Serve as DCM’s subject matter graphic design expert to create and update regulatory-required cardholder collateral, and other team material such as job aids, SharePoint site, presentations using the appropriate software (Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite)

Manage the tactical execution of various printed and online collateral for delivery to internal clients, creative agencies, and external print suppliers

Proactively resolve issues and proactively communicate challenges to Project Managers and leadership as needed to coordinate solution implementation.

Ensure collateral meets client requirements, SYF and client brand standards, channel requirements, legal and regulatory guidelines, and retention requirements

Identify process improvements targeting cycle/lead time reductions, cost savings and standardizations

Consistently maintain a 99.9% accuracy rate for collateral, procedures and processes

Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or in lieu of degree high school diploma/GED and 5+ years of Marketing experience.

A minimum of 2 years of prior creative design experience including utilization of Adobe Creative Suite, HTML coding and HTML coding with pagination.

Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required

Desired Characteristics:

2+ years marketing project management with knowledge of print, online and mobile environments.

Experience in consumer financial services with exposure to a credit card or retail environment.

Experience in developing marketing campaigns and creative material that resonate with customers.

Project management skills with successful experience participating in a cross functional team.

Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems, develop new tactics and address implementation obstacles.

Grade/Level: 09

The salary range for this position is 60,000.00 - 112,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

You must be 18 years or older

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
