Job Description

Systems Engineer Level 2 – DevOps

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph Required
Start Date: Immediate

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Systems Engineer Level 2 with a strong DevOps and systems administration (SA) background to support mission-critical infrastructure in a secure environment. The role involves maintaining, automating, and optimizing systems using modern DevOps tools and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting similar programs and contracts of comparable scope and complexity.

Required Qualifications:

Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Systems Engineer (SE) on programs of similar size, scope, and complexity

Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited college or university

An additional five (5) years of SE experience may be substituted for the degree requirement

Required Skills:

Strong system administration background

Proficiency with Linux operating systems

Experience with scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, etc.)

Familiarity with AWS and cloud infrastructure services

Hands-on DevOps experience

Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible for infrastructure automation and configuration management
