Position Overview

The Signage Project Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all signage-related projects across our self-storage portfolio. This role ensures that property signage is accurate, compliant, on-brand, and delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proficient in Excel, and experienced in project management and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end signage projects for new developments, acquisitions, rebrands, and property updates.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and trackers using Excel and project management tools.
Coordinate with internal teams to define signage needs and specifications.
Serve as the primary point of contact for signage vendors, designers, installers, and permitting agencies.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Create and maintain a master signage inventory across all properties.
Track permitting requirements, municipal regulations, and landlord approvals.
Proactively plan for signage updates related to rate changes, promotions, branding updates, or operational changes.
Anticipate and mitigate project risks and delays.
Source and manage signage vendors and installers.
Obtain and compare bids; negotiate pricing when appropriate.
Track invoices and maintain accurate budget reporting.
Ensure quality control and compliance with brand standards.
Maintain detailed Excel spreadsheets for project tracking, budgets, timelines, and signage inventories.
Generate status reports for leadership on active and upcoming projects.
Monitor KPIs related to signage completion timelines and cost efficiency.
Ensure all signage aligns with company branding guidelines.
Coordinate artwork approvals and proofing processes.
Verify that signage complies with local regulations, zoning, and permitting requirements.
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in project coordination, signage management, facilities coordination, construction administration, or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data tracking, reporting).
• Strong project management and task coordination skills.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Experience in real estate, retail, construction, or self-storage industry preferred.
