Position Overview

As Project Manager, you will report directly to executive leadership and operate as the primary business owner for your assigned projects.

You will manage high-end residential remodels and serve as the central decision-maker responsible for financial performance, schedule integrity, client experience, and team coordination.

This is a leadership role with defined metrics, measurable outcomes, and advancement potential.

Purpose of the Role

To deliver high-end residential remodeling projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with Perez Construction's quality standards - while creating an exceptional client experience and maintaining strong gross margins.

Operating independently with minimal executive intervention
Primary Responsibilities
Project Planning & Production
Develop and manage detailed project schedules in Buildertrend, including materials, labor, subcontractors, and inspections
Lead weekly 2-week look-ahead meetings
Facilitate bi-weekly OAC meetings
Conduct jobsite inspections (minimum twice weekly)
Ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
Ensure all construction meets plans and company quality standards
Coordinate daily production activities to ensure proper materials and resources
Conduct jobsite inspections at least twice per week
Meet with subcontractors at project start, midpoint, and completion to evaluate progress
Financial Leadership
Manage and control project costs across labor, subcontractors, and materials
Complete "Cost to Complete" reports by the 5th of each month with detailed projections
Monitor labor hours weekly against the budget and develop corrective plans
Review subcontractor and vendor invoices to confirm accuracy before payment
Manage the change order process from estimate to signed authorization
Client & Team Leadership
Maintain consistent communication with clients and field teams
Upload daily Buildertrend logs with progress photos by 5 PM
Build strong relationships with owners, architects, and trade partners
Maintain an average 8/10 internal team NPS score
Foster a professional, positive, and safe jobsite culture
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Project Management experience in high-end residential remodeling
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and the ability to read and interpret plans, details, and specifications
Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control skills
Experience with construction management software (Buildertrend preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Humble and open to feedback
Fluent in English; Spanish a plus
Preferred Leadership Attributes
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum 5 years in high-end residential construction project management
Financially disciplined and data-driven

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $130,000-$200,000 annually (based on experience and skills)
