*Retail Success Coordinator - OC/Long Beach/South Bay*
*Company Overview:*
Natura Life + Science is a leading vertically integrated cannabis company in California, offering a robust portfolio of house brands including Sluggers, Dee Thai, Lola Holistic, Iced, and Spritz. We are committed to providing quality cannabis products while maintaining a strong focus on retail partnerships and in-store experiences.
*Job Summary*
The Retail Success Coordinator is a hands-on, field-forward role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves connecting with the community, and isn't afraid to take the lead. You'll execute guerilla campaigns, build retail relationships, host in-store blitzes, and make sure our name is seen, heard, and felt-all while staying compliant and creative. You'll be a key voice on the ground, trusted to bring ideas to the table and execute activations with pride.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Lead Guerilla Marketing Activations
Deploy bold and strategic visibility tactics-sidewalk stencils, sticker/poster drops, and more-across high-traffic neighborhoods.
- Retail Relationship Building
Establish and maintain strong ties with local dispensaries. Set up and host product demos, ensure in-store displays are full and clean, and keep staff engaged with brand training and swag drops.
- Take Initiative
Proactively reach out to new retail partners, scout high-visibility locations, and propose new ideas for community engagement and market visibility.
- Field Reporting & Documentation
Submit weekly recaps with photo documentation of activations. Track execution in Google Sheets and coordinate with marketing via Slack, WhatsApp, or email.
- Support Brand Trainings & Events
Serve as the face of the brand at pop-ups, street-level events, in-store activations, and education sessions-ensuring the vibe is always on-point and mission-aligned.
- Collaborate & Communicate
Report to the VP of Marketing and Regional Marketing Manager. Work independently 60-70% of the time, and collaborate with the broader marketing and brand teams as needed.
*What We're Looking For*
- Deep knowledge of your regions culture, neighborhoods, and event scene
- Experience in cannabis marketing, retail, or demo activations preferred
- Familiarity with guerilla tactics, street art, or brand ambassadorship
- Reliable, responsive, and highly organized while juggling multiple initiatives
- Comfortable working independently in outdoor/urban settings (nights/weekends as needed)
- Strong communicator
- Open-minded and creatively driven. Contribute ideas, not just execute them
*Preferred Skills:*
- Expertise in managing retail marketing budgets and optimizing resources for maximum impact.
- Strong creative instincts and the ability to collaborate with design and product teams to bring ideas to life.
- Experience in leading teams and managing third-party vendors.
- Knowledge of California's cannabis regulations and market dynamics.
*Bonus Points If You*
- Are already tapped into local event promoters, venues, or underground spaces
- Have a portfolio or social media presence showing off your past guerilla or creative work
- Understand how to draw attention in public-without crossing legal lines
*Compensation & Perks*
*-* $25/hr + mileage reimbursement
- Full medical, dental, and benefits (if full time)
- Exclusive brand merch, product drops, and team experiences
- Room for growth within the marketing team as we expand into more territories
