This People Service Intake and Transformation Lead plays a pivotal role on the People Services & Delivery (PSD) team. This position combines the core functions of service delivery, governance, and continuous improvement with strategic transformation and integration initiatives. We are looking for a candidate who is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a time-sensitive environment, has proven experience with ambiguity, and can seamlessly shift between leading daily operations and driving high-impact, project-based work. This person does not need to have the “correct” answer to everything but, rather, should quickly drive the conversation toward a productive, programmatic solution. We’re looking for a hands-on, forward-thinking leader who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and dig into the details to get the job done. You are highly adaptable, capacity to manage shifting priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous, high-stakes environment.
People Service Intake and Transformation Lead (M&A) Responsibilities:
Strategic Transformation & Integration: Play a crucial role in people-related transformation projects, including Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). This includes evaluating the HR landscape, conducting due diligence, defining people strategies that align with business objectives, developing workforce plans, and leading change and integration processes
Overall People lead for M&A: Responsible for directing all people-related workstreams throughout the deal and integration lifecycle. The position requires developing and managing detailed project plans that include communications, change management, timelines, and critical milestones
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including leaders across People@, cross-functional teams, business sponsors, and external partners. You will build trust, manage communication channels effectively, and ensure alignment across all organizational levels to achieve shared goals
Continuous Improvement & AI Adoption: Act as a key driver of innovation within our operations. You will actively seek out opportunities to leverage AI and automation to reduce manual work, improve consistency, accelerate resolution times, and enhance the overall employee experience, while maintaining governance and data privacy standards
25% domestic or international travel anticipated
Minimum Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in program management, business transformation, or operations leadership roles
Experience leading multiple projects from initiation to completion, adept at maintaining complex project plans, managing cross-functional dependencies, and ensuring accountability to meet fast-paced deadlines
Experience establishing, building, and managing working relationships with both internal and external teams, including leadership levels – with proven ability to lead without authority
Experience leveraging project and relationship management methodologies and risk identification and management strategies, with demonstrated critical thinking and thought leadership
Proven track record of critical thinking, complex problem solving, and challenging the status quo and develop efficient workflows and engagement models
Proven communication and interpersonal skills, and proven track record of being influential to stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, or equivalent experience
Experience working with or supporting a global customer/user base
Experienced communication and relationship building skills
Solutions driven, outside of the box thinker, with ability to take full ownership of enhancing M&A People programs and operations end to end
Highly organized, exceptional time management, and task prioritization abilities
Experience being adaptable and resilient when faced with conflicting priorities, multi-tasking to get things done in a time-sensitive, ambiguous environment
Knowledge of HR best practices, legislative, and regulatory constraints
Knowledge and understanding of the tech / software industry business models and core processes
