As we look to sustain our success and expand our reach, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced *Senior Full-Stack Engineer / Solution Architect* to continue developing our teams and expanding our capabilities.
*Job Description*: MSI is the leader in the Federal adoption of Emerging Technologies. Our engagements span the civilian and defense sectors and include developing some of the most impactful automations that have been deployed in the Federal Government. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
* Lead the design and development of end-to-end API ecosystems across legacy applications, data sources, and customer groups.
* Define API architecture patterns (REST, GraphQL, event-driven, microservices).
* Translate federal system constraints into actionable, scalable technical designs.
* Lead the technical delivery of APIs for legacy command code replacement.
* Direct the development and technical documentation of agency microservices.
* Guide developers on design decisions.
* Develop APIs for AI/ML-enabled workflows.
* Establish and manage QA/QC mechanisms and customer feedback loops.
*Qualifications: *
Technical Skills:
* Bachelors, Masters, or PHD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Note: Experience in lieu of an advanced degree is acceptable.
* Certification in cloud technologies such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
* 15+ years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture principles, design, security, and/or cost optimization.
* Object-oriented programming (Python, Java, JavaScript, C##).
* Full-stack development (MongoDB, Express, React, Node, Spring Framework, Power Platform).
* Cloud platform integration (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government).
* OAuth2, OpenID, PKI, Zero Trust.
* Legacy integration (COBOL, mainframes, Assembly).
* API gateways architecture.
* Federal Compliance literacy (ATO, NIST).
* Translating ambiguity into technical direction.
* Creating alignment and consensus among distributed stakeholders.
Bonus Experience:
* IRS, Treasury, DHS, or DoD system integration experience.
* Prior leadership roles in ATO processes or enterprise architecture initiatives.
* Proven accomplishments in customer service, client success, or relationship management roles.
