*LRE* has an immediate opportunity for a Financial Controller to join our growing team in San Rafael, California.

*Responsibilities Include*
* Plans, organizes, and manages the daily operations of the Company's accounting function to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with policies and procedures
* Provides leadership to the accounting team by assigning work, reviewing deliverables, training staff, and supporting professional development
* Oversee the entire Accounts Payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor and contractor invoices, appropriate approval workflows, correct coding, and prompt resolution of discrepancies or vendor inquiries
* Prepares and reviews monthly, quarterly and annual tax reports, including sales and use tax returns
* Reviews and ensures timely reconciliation of ledgers, accounts, and supporting schedules; monitors accounting transactions to maintain accuracy and integrity
* Prepares, reviews, and analyzes complex financial reports, statements, and schedules to support management decision-making
* Ensures timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
* Monitors changes in accounting regulations, compliance requirements, and technology that may affect operations, and implements improvements as needed
* Manage Investor Portfolios and Communication
* Performs other duties as assigned

*Qualifications*
· BA/BS in Accounting
· 3+ years professional hands-on accounting experience, including supervisory experience, Preferred in Real Estate
· Accounting experience with developments a plus
· Strong working knowledge of GAAP
· Strong working knowledge of Excel
· Excellent writing skills
· Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
