*Responsibilities*
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new business opportunities within assigned territories, focusing on B2B (business-to-business) sales channels.
* Conduct proactive outside sales efforts, including cold calling, lead generation, and face-to-face meetings with potential clients.
* Manage existing accounts through effective account management strategies, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
* Deliver compelling product demos and presentations to showcase solutions tailored to client needs, emphasizing technical sales aspects when relevant.
* Identify market trends and analyze competitors to refine sales tactics and expand territory management efforts.
* Negotiate contracts and close deals by demonstrating value, upselling where appropriate, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.
* Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that generate qualified leads and increase brand awareness.
* Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, pipeline status, and customer feedback to support strategic planning and territory management.
*Experience (not required *but *preferred)*
* Proven success in outside sales or direct sales roles with a focus on B2B environments.
* Strong management skills with experience overseeing territory management and business development initiatives.
* Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools for lead tracking and customer relationship management.
* Demonstrated ability in negotiation, upselling, and closing complex sales deals effectively.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver engaging product demos and presentations.
* Experience in technology or retail sales is a plus; familiarity with technical products enhances your ability to serve clients effectively.
* Strong analysis skills for evaluating market data, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
