Role Overview

We are seeking a Content Marketing Manager to own the creation, structure, and governance of high-quality content that drives organic visibility and supports sales effectiveness. This role translates internal expertise and customer insight into clear, credible content optimized for traditional search engines (SEO), answer-based discovery (AEO), and digital advertising efforts. The role also serves as the central owner of content quality and brand standards, with secondary responsibility for general marketing support and coordination.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role with high ownership, limited hand-holding, and significant cross-functional visibility.

Content, SEO & AEO

Own content strategy and organic visibility across SEO and AEO, including the creation and optimization of written content such as website pages, blogs, case studies, customer stories, and sales enablement materials.
Interview internal stakeholders and customers to extract expertise, technical detail, and real-world insight, then translate that knowledge into clear, reusable content
Own SEO and AEO content strategy, ensuring content is structured for search intent, entity relevance, and answer-based platforms.
Develop, write, and own email nurture sequences within HubSpot for cold and early-stage leads, including messaging, structure, and ongoing optimization
Serve as the organization's primary writer for all customer-facing and marketing content, including website copy, marketing materials, advertisements, and internal communications
Manage and coordinate external graphic design support (freelance, offshore, or vendor-based) to ensure visual execution aligns with content strategy, brand standards, and campaign priorities.
Lead sourcing, onboarding, and ongoing management of external design resources, including selecting partners, defining workflows, setting quality standards, and managing timelines.

Brand & Content Governance

Ensure content quality, messaging consistency, and cross-channel alignment to support brand credibility and organic visibility
Serve as the final review point for content and marketing materials used by internal teams and franchisees

Marketing Support & Operations

Own organic social media strategy and execution, including content calendar development, post creation, profile maintenance, performance tracking, and routing inbound inquiries to appropriate teams
Serve as the central intake and coordination point for internal and franchise marketing requests, setting priorities and ensuring timelines and quality standards are maintained
Support events, trade shows, and internal initiatives through coordination of content, branded materials, and supporting resources
Maintain organized systems for content, assets, templates, and approvals to support reuse and scale
Manage and direct marketing support vendors to ensure timely, high-quality execution

Qualifications

5+ years in content marketing or sales enablement, with demonstrated ownership of content from strategy through final delivery
Exceptional writing and editing skills producing content for marketing and sales audiences
Proven ability to interview subject-matter experts and customers independently, extracting meaningful insights with minimal direction
Strong track record translating complex technical information into clear, credible content with limited revision needed
Demonstrated SEO experience including keyword research, on-page optimization, and performance tracking; growing AEO knowledge preferred
Hands-on experience with HubSpot (CMS and CRM), web analytics platforms (Google Analytics preferred), SEO tools (SEMrush or similar), and Canva or similar design tools for light visual content creation
Experience developing and executing B2B social media content strategies
Experience managing external vendors or contractors for content, design, or marketing execution
Strong organizational skills with ability to operate autonomously in fully remote environment with minimal supervision
Track record building content programs from scratch or transforming underperforming strategies

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $85,000 – $110,000, depending on experience
Medical, dental, and vision insurance
401(k) and additional benefits programs
Flexible paid time off (PTO)
Mobile phone reimbursement
