Position Overview
Gotham Greens is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support and optimize enterprise applications, with a primary focus on Oracle Fusion Financials and related SQL-based reporting environments.
This role operates at the intersection of Finance and Technology, owning functional support, data validation, and system troubleshooting efforts across financial workflows. The Analyst will play a key role in ensuring ERP configuration, integrations, and reporting outputs align with business requirements while driving system stability and structured improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
ERP & Enterprise Systems (Primary Focus: Oracle Fusion)
Own functional support across Oracle Fusion Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA).
Diagnose and resolve posting issues, transactional discrepancies, and subledger-to-GL alignment challenges.
Maintain value sets, master data governance controls, and role-based access configurations.
Support and improve month-end and year-end financial system processes.
Lead structured data uploads and validation activities.
Coordinate quarterly Oracle update testing and regression validation.
Support operational continuity for Sage 300 where applicable.
Accounting & Financial Workflow Alignment
Apply a strong understanding of debits, credits, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
Analyze full P2P, O2C, and Record-to-Report workflows.
Validate system-generated journals and investigate variances.
Partner directly with Finance leadership to ensure reporting integrity.
Data, SQL & Integrations
Write and maintain SQL queries for ERP validation, reconciliation, and reporting support.
Perform root-cause analysis of integration and data flow issues.
Support design and validation of integrations between Oracle and third-party platforms.
Contribute to internal data controls and audit readiness.
Project & Execution Support
Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Coordinate and support UAT execution.
Track risks, issue resolution, and system enhancements.
Partner with the IT Project Manager on ERP optimization initiatives.
Qualifications
3–6 years supporting ERP systems (Oracle Fusion strongly preferred).
Hands-on experience with financial modules in a cloud ERP environment.
Strong foundation in accounting fundamentals.
Practical SQL experience (joins, aggregations, reconciliation queries).
Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, or system enhancements.
Strong analytical and cross-functional communication skills.
Proficiency in Excel; experience with reporting or BI tools preferred.
