*Mid-Level to Senior .NET Developer*
*Location:* New York State (Onsite / Hybrid / Relocation Support Available)

Gain America is hiring *Mid-Level to Senior .NET Developers* to support *enterprise-scale New York State and Federal government IT systems*. These roles are ideal for developers with strong experience building, enhancing, and maintaining *mission-critical applications* in *regulated government environments*.
You will work on large-scale systems that support public services, modernization initiatives, and system integrations.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Design, develop, and enhance *enterprise .NET applications* for NY State and Federal agencies
* Develop applications using *C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core/.NET Framework*
* Collaborate with *business analysts, architects, QA, and infrastructure teams*
* Perform *code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and production support*
* Support *system modernization, enhancements, and integrations*
* Develop and consume *REST/SOAP APIs and web services*
* Follow established *SDLC, security, and compliance standards*
* Independently manage complex development tasks
*Required Technical Qualifications*
* *5+ years of professional .NET development experience*
* Strong expertise in *C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core or .NET Framework*
* Experience with *enterprise web applications and backend services*
* Hands-on experience with *databases* such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
* Familiarity with *Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies*
* Experience with *version control and CI/CD tools* (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Prior *State or Federal government project experience*
* Experience working in *regulated or compliance-driven environments*
* Knowledge of *security, compliance, or data governance standards*
* Experience mentoring junior developers or providing technical guidance
*Eligibility Requirements*
* *US Citizen or Green Card holder (mandatory)*
