*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Professional with Boating Experience to join our team of Advisors at Engel & Völkers Yachting. This is a work-from-home, 1099 contractor opportunity, with support from our teams in Florida and California.
Engel & Völkers is a worldwide real estate and yacht brokerage, distinguished by its committment to bespoke service, for all customers and clients. Advisors at Engel & Völkers Yachting work with buyers and sellers of everything from family ski boats, to bluewater cruisers, to luxury megayachts and houseboats.
The referral network consisting of 10k+ real estate advisors, results in limitless potential for our yacht brokers.
*We provide Listings and the Leads!*
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through effective, prompt communication and relationship-building strategies. You will match boat and yacht buyers with boat and yacht owners. You will engage with existing and potential clients, manage existing accounts, and work towards achieving sales targets in a fast-paced environment. There is no cold calling required, however you are encouraged to network within your local market to maximize success.
*Responsibilities*
* Manage and nurture relationships with boat and yacht sellers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
* Respond promptly to buyer inquiries.
* Be available for showings, water trials, and inspections.
* Collaborate with other advisors to sell each other's listings across territories.
* Strategize with Sales Management on an individual success plan.
* Track sales activities and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
* Meet or exceed monthly sales targets while managing time effectively across various accounts.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
* Attend sales meetings via videoconferencing
*Requirements*
* Ability to manage territory effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building relationships.
* Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Availability to respond to buyer inquiries as they come in.
* Familiarity with CRM software.
* A passion for the boating lifestyle
* Obtain a Florida Yacht and Ship Salesperson License through the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (approx $700/no test)
