Job Description
*Important Role Clarification (Please Read Before Applying)*
This role is designed for experienced U.S. healthcare operations professionals who have built dashboards *and* executed workflow/process improvements inside a live clinical or revenue-cycle environment.
It is *not* a remote analytics, IT reporting, or entry-level data role.
Candidates without hands-on U.S. healthcare operations execution experience (clinical workflows, revenue cycle, or practice operations) and strong Excel-based dashboard capability will not be considered.
*Healthcare Business Intelligence & Process Execution Manager*
*Location: Munster, Indiana (In-Person Only)*
*Reports Directly To: President & Physician Executive*
*Position Overview*
We are a physician-led advanced primary care organization building a high-performance, data-driven operating model across clinical, financial, and administrative workflows.
This is *not a remote, hybrid, or theoretical analytics role.*
This is a *fully in-person, hands-on healthcare operations execution role* for an experienced U.S. healthcare professional who can convert raw operational data into real-time dashboards, workflow visibility, and measurable performance improvement.
You must understand how U.S. healthcare actually functions — from patient access and clinical flow to revenue cycle and population health — and be able to build intelligence systems that drive *daily operational decisions inside a live clinical environment.*
*Candidates with data education alone but without real U.S. healthcare operations execution experience will not be considered.*
*Role Purpose*
To build and operationalize an enterprise intelligence and workflow optimization engine that integrates:
* Clinical operations
* Population health programs
* Revenue cycle performance
* Staffing and capacity utilization
* Financial performance
This role converts raw healthcare data into *real-time operational visibility and execution* that improves:
* Patient outcomes
* Revenue integrity
* Operational efficiency
* Capacity utilization
* Long-term practice sustainability
This is a *builder + executor role*, not a reporting-only role.
*Core Responsibilities1. Business Intelligence & Operational Dashboard Development*
Build and maintain real-time operational dashboards using data from:
* EHR/EMR systems
* Scheduling and access systems
* Revenue cycle/billing platforms
* Financial and cost-center data
* Population health programs (CCM, RPM, AWV, chronic care models)
Translate raw data into decision-ready intelligence for:
* Provider productivity and capacity utilization
* Revenue performance and leakage
* Staffing efficiency
* Patient access and throughput
* Program and service line performance
All reporting must be *operationally actionable and used by leadership daily*, not retrospective reporting.
*2. Workflow Mapping & Process Execution*
Map and analyze end-to-end workflows across:
* Front desk and registration
* Clinical operations
* Scheduling and access
* Population health programs
* Revenue cycle and charge capture
Responsibilities include:
* Identifying inefficiencies and variation using real data
* Designing practical workflow improvements
* Implementing lean process changes
* Executing rapid-cycle process improvement (RCPI)
* Monitoring results and adjusting workflows in real time
* Incorporating automation to achieve efficiencies and close blind spots
*This role requires hands-on execution inside the practice — not theoretical recommendations.*
*3. Revenue & Financial Performance Intelligence*
* Identify denial trends and revenue leakage
* Track documentation and charge capture gaps
* Build utilization and capacity models
* Support staffing and scheduling optimization
* Link operational behavior to financial outcomes
* Assist leadership with forecasting and cost visibility
*4. Clinical & Population Health Intelligence*
* Build dashboards for longitudinal care programs (CCM, RPM, AWV)
* Identify care gaps affecting outcomes and reimbursement
* Surface underutilization and overutilization patterns
* Support proactive patient management through data
* Translate clinical metrics into operational action plans
*5. Direct Executive Collaboration*
This role reports directly to the President and works closely with:
* Operations leadership
* Finance leadership
* Clinical leadership
* Process optimization team
You will help build the organization’s *enterprise operational intelligence and process management infrastructure*.
*Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)*
*Minimum 5 years of real U.S. healthcare operations experience*
Must demonstrate hands-on experience working with:
* U.S. healthcare clinical and operational workflows
* Revenue cycle and billing processes
* EHR/EMR data and reporting
* Operational performance metrics
* Workflow or process improvement execution
*Candidates without real U.S. healthcare operations experience will not be considered, regardless of analytics degrees or certifications.*
*Technical & Analytical Requirements*
*Advanced Excel proficiency required (will be tested in interview)*
Must be able to independently perform:
* Pivot tables
* Complex formulas
* Data modeling
* Dashboard creation
* Multi-source data integration
* Data validation and analysis
*Preferred:*
Power BI / Tableau / Looker
Healthcare dashboard development
Experience working directly in raw operational datasets
Lean or process improvement training
*Professional Competencies*
We are seeking a professional who is:
* Process-driven and execution-focused
* Highly analytical and detail-oriented
* Comfortable working directly with physicians and leadership
* Able to translate data into operational action
* Self-directed and accountable
* Experienced in workflow optimization
* Comfortable being tested on real-world scenarios
*This is a builder and executor role, not a maintenance or reporting-only role.*
*Why This Role Matters*

They require *real-time operational intelligence tied directly to workflow execution.*
This role exists to build that capability and support a scalable, high-performance advanced primary care model.
