*Position Overview*
Diversified Roofing Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to support our outside sales team and growing customer base. This role focuses on managing job quote requests, coordinating project documentation, prospecting new opportunities, and providing day-to-day sales support.
The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable working behind the scenes to help drive revenue and strengthen customer relationships. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential for success in this position.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Receive and enter job quote requests on behalf of outside sales representatives
* Generate and provide accurate pricing and written quotations for roofing and wall product systems
* Create and assemble complete job submittal packages for awarded projects
* Track and follow up on open bids and outstanding quotes
* Source and identify potential lead opportunities based on project specifications
* Prospect new customers and develop qualified leads for outside sales representatives
* Assist with preparing and submitting product substitution requests
* Set meetings and appointments for outside sales representatives
* Maintain organized records of opportunities, quotes, submittals, and customer communications
* Coordinate with internal sales, estimating, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution
* Provide product information, availability details, and general support to customers
*Qualifications*
* Experience in inside sales, roofing, building materials, construction, or related industries preferred
* Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Comfortable making outbound prospecting calls
* Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and CRM or tracking systems
* Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
