Job Description
*Job Summary*
Devlin McNally Construction (dmc) is seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential construction projects, including framing, trim carpentry, and finishing work. This role involves working on new builds, remodeling, and restoration projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and practicing safe carpentry. This position will collaborate with the superintendent, project managers to deliver exceptional results on time and within scope.

*Responsibilities*
* Read and interpret blueprints, and construction drawings to execute projects accurately
* Frame walls, doors, windows
* Install doors, windows, cabinets, fixtures, siding, and trim carpentry components
* Operate hand tools, power tools safely and efficiently
* Perform excellent finish carpentry
* Apply finishing techniques such as plastering, caulking, painting
* Execute water damage restoration tasks including mold remediation and structural repairs
* Ensure all work is done safely
* Maintain a clean and organized work site throughout the project lifecycle
*Qualifications*
* 3+ years experience in residential construction or remodeling industry with a strong background in carpentry
* Skilled in finish
* Finish carpentry and framing carpentry
* Owns all basic tools
* Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems installation & repair is a plus
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights when necessary
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Valid experience in construction site safety protocols and OSHA standards is preferred
* Authorized to work in the U.S.
PAY & BENEFITS:
* $32–$40 per hr
