The Role
Prospect Schools is seeking an organized, flexible, and mission-driven Special Projects Manager to join us in support of our growing network of schools. The ideal candidate is fully dedicated to the mission of Prospect Schools and to supporting the success of our students and families. This person will report directly to the Director of School Operations and be responsible for creating, revising, and implementing strong operational systems to promote a positive, efficient, and safe environment for our school community.
Student Systems and Technology
Create and manage a system for student technology (ie. Chromebook) distribution, troubleshooting, and tracking
Act as the primary point of contact for staff and students in need of tech troubleshooting, and escalate issues to the IT Team as needed
School Operations
Project plan and execute logistics and communication for school events including (but not limited to) field trips, picture day, and end of year/graduation ceremonies
Act as state testing coordinator overseeing logistics, small groups, and overall health of school-based administration.
Execute After School Programming day-to-day operations, enrollment, and safety. Support with the planning and execution of day-to-day school systems, such as Arrival, Lunch/Recess, and Dismissal to ensure that they run efficiently and safely
Create and administer staff training on new and routine operations systems Act as the primary point person for all operations and logistics related to interim and standardized assessments, including schedule creation, class groupings, tech support, staff training, etc.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or 5 years professional experience
At least 3-5 years of operations or adjacent administrative experience
Prior experience working in a school preferred
Exceptionally strong organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail
Experience managing projects from beginning to end
Adept at collaborating and building community with others
