This is an opportunity to become the first dedicated Talent Lead and build the recruiting function from the ground up.
*About the Role*
We are seeking a Talent Lead to own and scale full-cycle recruiting across Engineering, Product, Design, and GTM functions. This role will partner directly with founders and hiring leaders to define hiring strategy, build structured processes, and create a high-quality candidate experience.
This position is ideal for a recruiter with deep startup experience who thrives in high-growth, high-ownership environments.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Own full-cycle recruiting across technical and business roles
* Partner with founders and hiring managers to scope roles, define competencies, and design structured interviews
* Build proactive sourcing strategies to develop strong candidate pipelines
* Implement and optimize recruiting systems (ATS workflows, structured debriefs, pipeline reviews)
* Lead offer strategy and candidate closing conversations, including compensation and equity discussions
* Track and analyze recruiting metrics (conversion rates, time-to-fill, source performance) to improve funnel efficiency
* Develop scalable hiring infrastructure and interviewer training processes
* Support employer branding initiatives to strengthen long-term talent attraction
* Contribute to onboarding and broader people operations as the company scales
*Qualifications*
* 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience within high-growth technology startups (Seed to Series D strongly preferred)
* Demonstrated experience recruiting technical talent, particularly Engineering and Product roles
* Experience building recruiting systems and processes in early-stage or scaling environments
* Strong sourcing and candidate closing skills
* Data-driven approach to recruiting performance and process improvement
* Experience using modern ATS platforms and recruiting tools
* Ability to operate independently and effectively in a fast-paced startup environment
* Experience in AI or software companies is strongly preferred
*Preferred Experience*
* Early recruiting hire at a high-growth startup
* Experience supporting in-person Bay Area teams
* Background in product-focused technology companies
