You will help elevate our QA standards, strengthen our processes, and contribute to continuous improvement across the team.
Essential Job Functions:

• Analyze system behavior, data flows, and integrations to determine testing needs, priorities, and effective test approaches.
• Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test strategies, and test cases across software and hardware solutions.
• Contribute to in-sprint automation by creating and maintaining automated tests that ensure new features are validated efficiently and consistently.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and data-focused testing across applications and services.
• Test SOAP and REST APIs, validating JSON and XML responses.
• Estimate testing effort, track defects, analyze results, and provide clear reporting to stakeholders.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and help raise quality standards across the team.
• Document test scenarios, results, and processes with clear and concise communication.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including standups, retrospectives, and planning.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of QA experience in an agile development environment.
• Strong ability to analyze data sets, workflows, and system interactions to uncover issues and validate scenarios.
• Demonstrated ability to challenge requirements and help teams clarify acceptance criteria.
• Experience testing web-based or client/server applications.
• UI automation experience with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) or Selenium (Java).
• Hands-on experience with either framework, with the ability to learn or adopt Playwright
• Familiarity with tools such as Selenium, JMeter, JUnit/TestNG, or Playwright Test.
• Experience testing web services (REST/SOAP) and validating JSON/XML structures.
• Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman or SOAPUI.
• Experience with IntelliJ or VS Code.
• Strong test planning, test case creation, and execution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed.
• Knowledge of TDD concepts; experience with CI/CD is a nice-to-have, not required.
• Excellent written communication skills for documenting test results, defects, and technical details.
• A collaborative, proactive mindset and passion for continuous improvement
• Cellphone or personal device to receive MFA (multi-factor authentication) texts or calls.
• Have an internet connection that’s adequate for their job, a minimum of 10Mbps down.
