The work
The Order to Cash (O2C) Fiori Consutlant is responsible for the analysis, design, and implementation of the SAP Fiori User Experience (UX) for the assigned end-to-end process area (e.g., B2R, P2P, O2C), ensuring that the interface is intuitive, responsive, and seamlessly integrated with backend business processes. This role governs the transition from traditional SAP GUI to a modern, role-based web environment, focusing on usability, performance optimization, and mobile readiness. The SAP Fiori Specialist is responsible for leading UX strategy, app configuration, and technical troubleshooting.
Key responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements to design a role-based Fiori architecture, ensuring that users have access to the right apps based on their specific federal job functions
Perform hands-on configuration of the Fiori Launchpad, including the setup of Spaces and Pages, Catalogs, Groups, and Target Mappings
Lead the end-to-end activation of standard Fiori apps using Rapid Activation scripts and the Task Manager, ensuring all OData services and SICF nodes are functioning correctly
Collaborate with developers to extend standard Fiori apps using SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and Fiori Elements, ensuring "Clean Core" principles are maintained
Partner with the Security team to integrate Fiori authorizations with backend PFCG roles, ensuring that the "App-to-Action" security model is robust and audit-compliant
Monitor and tune Fiori performance, including cache management, OData service optimization, and browser compatibility testing
Serve as the UX liaison for functional workstreams (B2R, P2P, etc.), advising them on the best Fiori apps to meet their "Fit-to-Standard" requirements and demonstrating analytical apps/KPI tiles
Lead the technical testing of the UX layer, resolving complex issues related to the Fiori Launchpad, Gateway errors, and UI5 library versioning
Create UX guidelines and provide training to end-users and stakeholders to drive the adoption of modern features like Search, Notifications, and Copilot (AI)
Here's what you need:
4+ years of experience in SAP Fiori/UI5, with a deep understanding of the S/4HANA Fiori architecture (embedded vs. standalone deployment)
Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including the use of Launchpad Service and Work Zone
Knowledge of OData Services (SEGW), SAP Gateway, and JavaScript/CSS for UI enhancements
Nice to have:
Proficiency in Fiori Elements and Screen Personas to deliver low-code/no-code UX improvements
Ability to use Chrome DevTools for debugging, manage Transports (CTS+), and configure Fiori Mobile/Web environments.
Familiarity with Section 508 Accessibility standards for federal software and ensuring Fiori apps are compliant for all users
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Eligibility requirements:
US Citizen (no dual citizenship)
Must be eligible to obtain a government Secret Clearance
Willingness to travel up to 25%
