We’re seeking a Mirth Engineer to join us. This is a remote position.
As a Mirth Engineer, you will be a key contributor within the Interoperability Department by managing and prioritizing daily Mirth Connect tasks. This is a remote position.
What you’ll do:
Automate manual processes
Work cross-functionally to configure HL7 connections
Troubleshoot connection issues and other complications
Provide exceptional customer service to both internal Zotec employees as well as Zotec clients
Analyze and manipulate data by writing and running SQL queries
Analyze logs to identify and prevent potential issues from occurring
Utilize Javascript/SQL knowledge to write custom processes and modify data files
Develop custom interfaces and extracts from SQL Data
Create custom Reporting methods using Mirth Connect
Maintain Mirth Connect system by addressing failures/errors, and upgrades, in addition to allocating system resources
Complete all other duties as assigned
Participate in the on-call rotation and address on call items timely and to resolution
What you’ll bring to Zotec:
5-7 Years’ experience in healthcare integration
Knowledge and understanding of file structure for analysis (HL7, EDI x12, Image formats, Excel, OCR)
Interface engine experience required; Mirth preferred
Experience utilizing SQL, including writing and running queries, to analyze data
Experience using Javascript to transform data
Experience operating in a change control environment
Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
Associate or bachelor’s degree in informatics or related field preferred
Professionally exercises discretion and independent judgment in day-to-day work
