We are building a centralized Program Management Office (PMO) and modernizing operations across all entities. We are now seeking a *Fractional CMO* to architect and lead marketing strategy across the entire portfolio.
This is not a coordinator role. This is a *growth architect position*.
Your Mission
Design and execute a unified marketing strategy that:
* Drives qualified leads across all portfolio companies
* Builds brand authority in construction, logistics, and government markets
* Aligns digital execution with revenue objectives
* Establishes repeatable marketing systems and dashboards
* Increases measurable ROI on marketing spend
You will report directly to ownership and work closely with finance, operations, and the PMO.
*Scope of Role*
This is a *fully remote, part-time 1099 contractor role*.
* Initial engagement: *10–20 hours per week*
* Growth expected as initiatives scale
* Flexible schedule, results-driven environment
Key Responsibilities1. Portfolio-Level Marketing Strategy
* Develop an integrated marketing strategy across multiple businesses
* Define positioning for each brand and unify messaging
* Establish target segments, go-to-market approach, and channel mix
2. Revenue-Driven Lead Generation
* Build systems to generate qualified B2B leads
* Oversee SEO, PPC, LinkedIn strategy, outbound, and content marketing
* Develop measurable cost-per-lead and conversion tracking
3. Marketing Systems & Analytics
* Implement dashboards and KPIs aligned with CFO/PMO reporting
* Track ROI, pipeline contribution, conversion metrics
* Optimize campaigns using performance data
4. Team Leadership
* Lead and structure current marketing team:
* Overseas marketing specialist
* Graphic designer
* Future U.S.-based hires
* Establish workflow, accountability, and execution cadence
5. Brand & Authority Development
* Elevate portfolio brand credibility
* Improve website messaging and positioning
* Develop thought leadership in construction, logistics, and federal markets
6. Budget Management
* Allocate marketing spend strategically
* Align marketing investments with revenue targets
* Provide monthly ROI reports to ownership
Ideal Candidate Profile

You are a *growth strategist with execution depth*.
*Required Experience:*
* 10+ years in marketing leadership
* Experience managing marketing across multiple business units
* Strong B2B marketing experience (construction, logistics, industrial, or government preferred)
* Proven ability to generate measurable pipeline growth
* Experience managing remote marketing teams
* Strong digital marketing fluency (SEO, PPC, CRM, analytics)
*Highly Preferred:*
* Experience in construction, logistics, freight, federal contracting, or industrial services
* Experience in turnaround or growth-stage environments
* Experience integrating CRM systems with sales tracking
* Ability to think in terms of CAC, LTV, ROI, pipeline velocity
