Job Description
We are seeking a high-level *Technical Operations Specialist* with a background in *Computer Science and Information Security* to serve as the backbone of our multi-platform e-commerce infrastructure. This is not a traditional warehouse role; it is a systems-engineering position focused on data integrity, custom application development, and cybersecurity.
You will be responsible for the seamless synchronization between our sales channels (TikTok, Amazon, etc.) and our in-house *Warehouse Management System (WMS)*, while building custom software solutions to bypass platform limitations.
*Key Responsibilities*
* *Systems Integration & Data Integrity:* Manage and audit the API-driven synchronization between multiple e-commerce platforms and our in-house WMS. Ensure 100% data accuracy in stock levels, order flow, and shipment tracking.
* *Custom Application Development:* Design, code, and deploy in-house tools to optimize fulfillment. Examples include:
* Developing custom "Pick-List" generators that outperform standard platform exports.
* Building proprietary label-sorting applications to fix TikTok/Marketplace formatting inefficiencies.
* Creating automation scripts to handle repetitive data entry tasks.
* *Security & Risk Management:* As a major in Information Security, you will lead our digital defense. This includes securing API keys, managing access controls for staff/VAs, and ensuring PCI compliance for customer data.
* *WMS Optimization:* Act as the primary administrator for the WMS, troubleshooting sync errors in real-time and refining workflows to increase warehouse "pick-to-ship" speed.
* *Logistics Engineering:* Use data analytics to identify bottlenecks in our fulfillment process and build technical solutions to solve them.
*Required Qualifications*
* *Education:* B.S. or M.S. in *Computer Science, Information Security*, or a closely related technical field.
* *Programming:* Proficiency in languages suited for automation and tool-building (e.g., Python, JavaScript/Node.js, or SQL).
* *Technical Knowledge:* Experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP), database management, and cloud environments.
* *Security Mindset:* Deep understanding of data encryption, secure authentication, and network security.
* *Problem Solving:* A "Builder" mentality—when a platform like TikTok provides a poor tool, you have the skills to build a better one in-house.
