*Position Purpose:*
Manages and provides oversight, guidance, expertise and internal consultancy for the architecture, implementation, and ongoing optimization of the company’s cloud and infrastructure platforms.
*Essential Responsibilities:*
* Defines and enforces Service Level Agreements, Service Level Objectives, and Key Performance Indicators for infrastructure and cloud services and operations.
* Partners with other engineering and product leaders to ensure infrastructure and DevOps capabilities align with business and technical goals.
* Oversees and managers the design, deployment, and management of highly available and resilient cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS.
* Oversees hybrid and multi-cloud strategy execution, cloud-native architecture, and cloud governance. Ensures compliance with security, regulatory, and operational requirements across all environments.
* Oversees and manages DevOps practices to accelerate development cycles and improve software delivery through robust CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, AWS Code Pipeline, etc.)
*Minimum Qualifications*
_*Education*_
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science or related discipline.
Additional recent experience in administering networks, active directory, and managing servers or other related areas may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree on a year per year basis. (Experience requirements may be satisfied by full-time experience or the prorated part-time equivalent.)
_*Certification*_
* Have or obtain public cloud provider certification in Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) within 1 year of employment or promotion
* Process improvement certification, such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITILv4), preferred
_*Experience*_
* Five (5) years Information Technology experience encompassing multiple technologies and functionalities
* Three (3) years in IT infrastructure and cloud engineering roles
* Three (3) years designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud environments
* Three (3) years management or supervisory
* Two (2) years scripting in one of the following: Terraform (HCL), YAML, JSON, Python
