We are currently looking for a Sr. QA Automation Engineer to join our growing team!
The Sr QA Automation Engineer serves an important role in our Agile process. As the Sr. QA Engineer, you will analyze, create, and automate tests for functional and API of applications. You’ll design and coordinate test strategies, develop and maintain our automation frameworks, and execute comprehensive automated tests. Your expertise will be crucial in driving our continuous integration flows, troubleshooting system issues, and maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance for our products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the Senior QA Automation Engineer within an Agile/Scrum team, contributing to sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives.
Designs, develops, and maintains automated test frameworks using TypeScript + Playwright.
Build, enhance, and maintain a robust test automation framework using Selenium + TestNG for UI and service-level testing.
Create and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to execute automated tests across multiple environments.
Integrate API, UI, and performance tests into Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous validation.
Enhance and maintain automated CI test flows to support fast, reliable releases.
Validate backend data using MS SQL queries to ensure API and UI results match database state.
Execute test cases and accurately document results, including screenshots, logs, and defect tracking.
Collaborate closely with Developers and Product Owners to clarify requirements and resolve discrepancies between expected and actual results.
Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of test strategy and coverage.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 8+ years of experience in automation testing and Continuous Integration processes.
Strong hands-on experience of automating functional testing using Java and Selenium.
Strong hands-on experience of API automating testing using Playwright and Typescript.
Experience with version control, defect tracking and test management tools (Git, Azure DevOps, Jira)
Good understanding of JSON and XML data formats
Experience in load testing tools (JMeter)
Solid experience validating data using MS SQL.
Work experience with offshore team is a big plus.
Must have been a lead for a project.
Must be a self-starter.
Detailed oriented person with excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
