Job Description
Atomic Workshop Restaurant Group (State Bird Provisions, The Progress, & The Anchovy Bar) is seeking a full time People & Culture Manager. This role is to administer HR policies and procedures that maintain and improve employee relations and engagement; and to program and preserve organizational culture. This position works closely with our Operations/Team Relations Manager and our Business Director.

Job requirements and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Communicate succinctly, positively and with genuine warmth
* Have total awareness & be proactive to find solutions to potential problems
* Maintain and project calmness and attention to detail
* Time management: know how to prioritize, be organized, and work efficiently
* Knowledge of San Francisco and California employment law policies
* Previous restaurant management experience
* Represent the culture of hospitality of State Bird Provisions, The Progress & The Anchovy Bar
* Management of all HR Compliance Policies/Systems
* Management of Organizational Development & Education Systems
* Recruitment & Talent Acquisition, including candidate sourcing, evaluation, onboarding, and offboarding
* Employee Retention & Motivation, including counseling and /or discipline
* Employee Culture: educational opportunities, community involvement, restaurant relations, & fostering in person relationships
