Role Overview:
Sodexo is seeking a Senior Manager, Labor Optimization that will partner with HR, Payroll, PTO/Benefits, Operations, and IT to ensure workforce management processes align with business strategy, labor policies, and regulatory requirements. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating operational and policy needs into scalable, compliant solutions within UKG Pro Workforce Management and connected HR systems. Our corporate division oversees the administrative, finance, human resources, information technology, legal, marketing, recruiting, sales, and supply functions at Sodexo. Holding a corporate role places you at the core of all Sodexo's operations.
*This is a remote role with the successful candidate residing anywhere in the United States. Minimal travel is required for this role.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate with the PTO/Benefits team to accelerate the implementation of automated accrual processes for union employees within UKG Pro WFM.
Partner with HR and PTO/Benefits to implement and maintain PTO policies, accruals, eligibility, and payout practices.
Ensure consistent application of PTO programs across employee populations in compliance with regulatory and collective bargaining requirements.
Analyze and resolve PTO-related issues, advising HR on policy, process, and operational impacts.
Partner with Payroll to ensure pay rules support timely, accurate payroll processing.
Identify and mitigate risks related to wage and hour compliance, payroll accuracy, and employee experience.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs, define requirements, and recommend solutions.
Serve as the gatekeeper for business requirements, ensuring clear, complete documentation before handing off to IT for system build and deployment.
Conduct impact assessments to evaluate effects on employees, payroll, compliance, and downstream processes.
Lead business validation and user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet policy and operational intent.
Confirm UKG builds are complete and ensure business owners have all prerequisites in place for successful testing.
Partner with IT and Change Management to plan releases, assess impacts, and support communication and adoption.

What You Bring:
Extensive experience supporting UKG workforce management or HR operations, with strong exposure to PTO, timekeeping, scheduling, and payroll processes.
Experience partnering with HR, Payroll, and Operations to support policy execution and compliance.
Strong understanding of wage and hour regulations, PTO practices, and payroll impacts.
Proven ability to gather business requirements, assess impacts, and support organizational change.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Advanced degree or professional certifications (HR, Business Analysis, or Workforce Management) preferred.
Experience supporting multi-state, multi-country, or unionized workforce environments (U.S. and Canada preferred).
