Hiring! We have a wonderful opportunity for a Project Financials Coordinator for a long-term remote contract. This role offers an opportunity to grow and learn while working on exciting projects. You will be responsible for monitoring the financials to keep project on track in a fast-paced enterprise IT environment.
*Requirements*
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an IT PMO environment as a Project Coordinator or a Project Financial Analyst.
· Experience *required* with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and reporting in a corporate environment
· Experience with Jira is a plus
· Experience with SAP / ERP financial systems is REQUIRED
· Minimum bachelor’s degree
· Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills to meet strict deadlines
· A calm and flexible approach to handling pressure and stress with ability to stay on top of multiple fast paced projects with multiple concurrent streams.
· Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating a consistent commitment and ability to work with diverse work groups and individuals
*Responsibilities*
· Provide support to Project and Program managers on multiple project streams that require detailed financial Knowledge and insight for accurate status, updates and reporting
· Handle accruals, journal entries, and proactively check spend within the financial system
· Manage invoicing, tracking resources, tracking resource optimization for multiple concurrent projects
· Update and track PO’s and invoices
· Work closely with vendors to proactively solve problems and chase down loose ends
· Support the Project Managers and the PMO
