*The Role*
We’re hiring a *Mobile App Software Developer* to lead development of a new, AI-powered mobile application for rock climbing. This is a hands-on role with real ownership: you’ll be the lead developer on a brand-new product line and a key contributor to the technical direction of both the project and the company.
You’ll primarily work in *React Native*, while also collaborating across web development, backend systems, and cloud services. This role offers the opportunity to work across the stack, influence architecture decisions, and ship features that climbers will actually use.
You’ll report directly to the CEO and play a meaningful role in shaping how AI enters the climbing world.
*What You’ll Do*
· Lead development of a new AI-powered mobile application in the rock climbing space
· Design, build, and maintain high-quality mobile features using React Native
· Collaborate with teammates working on AI, backend systems, APIs, and web services
· Help shape technical architecture, tooling, and development practices
· Own features end-to-end, from concept to production
· Contribute ideas that improve product quality, performance, and user experience
*What We’re Looking For*
· A genuine connection to climbing (indoor, outdoor, or both)
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
· 2+ years of professional mobile app development experience
· Experience with React Native (or strong React + mobile experience)
· Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, startup environment
· Strong time management skills and a sense of ownership over your work
· Clear communication and collaboration skills
