We’re partnering with a leading financial services company to find a talented Senior Backend Software Engineer. This remote, out-of-region opportunity offers the chance to work on innovative banking technology and advance your expertise within a collaborative team. The position is temporary, lasting between 10 to 26 weeks, and involves contributing to the development of scalable, high-availability systems essential for modern financial services.

Senior Software Engineer, Backend Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and testing of core system components and services to ensure optimal performance.
Influence and shape the architectural decisions for critical banking software solutions.
Break down product requirements into actionable technical plans and deliver robust features.
Maintain high system availability and scalability in production environments.
Support, mentor, and collaborate with engineering team members to foster a strong technical culture.
Senior Software Engineer, Backend Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
At least seven years of experience in programming and designing consumer-facing applications with high scalability and uptime needs.
More than four years working with Java, Kotlin, Spring, AWS, and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with Temporal, Kafka, DynamoDB, and microservice architecture.
Familiarity with relational databases, ORMs, GIT, and CI/CD processes.
