Job Description
*Overview*
We are a growing NYC-based building compliance and construction company specializing in lead paint and mold abatement, residential construction, and regulatory compliance. We work closely with property owners, managers, and city agencies to resolve violations efficiently and correctly.
We’re looking for a hands-on Project Manager with experience.
This role is ideal for someone who understands how project management actually runs — coordinating subcontractors, managing scopes, handling inspections, and keeping projects moving without cutting corners.
Responsibilities
* Manage *lead paint and mold abatement* and residential construction projects from start to finish
* Review XRF reports, mold assessments, violations (DOH / HPD), and scopes of work
* Conduct site visits and walk-throughs
* Coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, and internal staff
* Schedule work, inspections, and clearances
* Ensure all work complies with *NYC DOH / HPD and applicable environmental regulations*
* Communicate clearly with clients, office staff, and field teams
* Track project progress, changes, and issues
* Help improve systems, checklists, and workflows as the company scales
Requirements
* Experience in *project management*
* Comfortable coordinating subcontractors and inspectors
* Organized, reliable, and calm under pressure
* Strong communication skills
* Able to work independently and take ownership of projects
Nice to Have (Not Required):
* Lead Supervisor, Mold Assessor, or related certifications
* Experience with Housecall Pro or similar job management software
* Bilingual (English / Spanish)
