Brief Summary
The Product Marketing Strategist plays a key role in developing and executing promotional strategies that drive growth across all lending areas, including consumer, mortgage, and commercial loan products. This position partners closely with lending leadership to design and implement marketing plans aligned with the credit union’s goals, priorities, and member‑focused mission. This role may also contribute to product and pricing decisions, particularly as they relate to promotional opportunities.
Working as an integrated member of the marketing team, especially alongside the Product Marketing Manager, the Product Marketing Strategist ensures cohesive, efficient, and strategically aligned execution of all loan‑related promotional initiatives. This is a remote position based out of a home office, preferably located near one of our twelve branch locations.
Key Responsibilities
Champion and optimize the credit union’s brand, segmentation strategy, and overall marketing framework to support membership and member‑engagement growth.
Develop and execute comprehensive promotional strategies for all lending areas—consumer, mortgage, and commercial—ensuring alignment with credit union goals and lending priorities.
Collaborate closely with lending leadership to identify growth opportunities, influence loan products and pricing decisions related to promotions, and maintain ongoing communication to support sales and service initiatives.
Build and manage annual promotional plans, including campaign calendars, media mix, budgets, analytics, and resource allocation, in partnership with marketing leadership and lending teams.
Lead and coordinate external partners, including media buyers, analysts, and other third‑party vendors to support the creation, execution, and optimization of lending promotional strategies.
Develop, track, and report on lending analytics, creating dashboards and measurement tools that inform campaign effectiveness, product penetration, acquisition, retention, and overall strategic planning.
Represent the credit union by participating in sponsored events and community activities, helping bolster the company brand and strengthen engagement across internal and external audiences
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, plus five years of experience in marketing, communications, or a comparable discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Financial services experience is a plus
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling messaging tailored to diverse audiences and channels.
Proven experience drafting and editing high‑quality marketing materials, reports, presentations, and strategic business communications.
Skilled presenter capable of delivering information effectively to cross‑functional teams, leadership, external partners, and customers with confidence.
Creative and analytical thinker with the ability to generate innovative marketing strategies while solving complex problems with limited standardization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Windows OS; experienced with Adobe Acrobat and database applications.
Demonstrated ability to leverage technology tools and marketing platforms, with a strong aptitude for learning new systems and software.

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wage & Hour Details
Full-time, 40 hrs/wk
This is an exempt position
Starting pay range: $86,200 – $91,000, pay commensurate with experience
