Principal AI Process Architect / Distinguished Engineer
We are building a new enterprise AI team to define governance, guardrails, and best practices for integrating AI into development and operational workflows. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role for a senior individual contributor operating at Director/VP caliber.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a trusted AI subject matter expert, embedding AI layers into enterprise dev workflows while ensuring security, compliance, and governance.
- Design and implement AI-enabled process improvements using Lean/Six Sigma principles.
- Architect and optimize RAG-based workflows (e.g., LangChain) and enterprise AI tool integrations.
- Balance automation with human-in-the-loop controls to maintain quality and customer experience.
- Drive cross-functional transformation initiatives as an internal consultant.
What You Bring
- 15–20+ years as a senior hands-on individual contributor in process engineering/operational excellence within IT environments.
- 3–5+ years implementing AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Gemini) and leveraging AI/ML capabilities in enterprise settings.
- Strong experience with RAG workflows, AI governance, and AI gateway platforms (e.g., Tetrate).
- Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, process modeling tools, KPI-driven optimization, and workflow orchestration.
- Background in Industrial Engineering applied to modern IT ecosystems.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence enterprise strategy.
