Job Description
Our client, a leading innovator in vehicle testing and infrastructure development, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the EE Integration department supporting vehicle test infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Foster City, CA
Pay Range: $60 per hour
What's the Job?
Support the modeling and design of vehicle bucks and hardware-in-the-loop test systems, enabling critical test operations.
Model and design test infrastructure such as dynamometers, fixtures, equipment racks, sensor adapters, and more.
Measure and model existing equipment, updating related documentation and illustrations.
Collaborate with customers to understand design requirements and project scope.
Assist with the assembly and installation of test equipment to ensure seamless integration and operation.
What's Needed?
BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience, with evidence of exceptional ability.
Experience using 3DX CATIA for modeling and designing parts such as brackets, enclosures, and harness routing.
Ability to measure and model existing or off-the-shelf equipment accurately.
Proficiency in importing and cleaning up third-party models into 3DX or similar CAD software.
Skill in creating high-quality 2D fabrication drawings and applying GD&T tolerancing principles.
