As we look to sustain our success and expand our reach, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced *Mid Full-Stack Developer* to continue developing our teams and expanding our capabilities.
*Job Description*: MSI is the leader in the Federal adoption of Emerging Technologies. Our engagements span the civilian and defense sectors and include developing some of the most impactful automations that have been deployed in the Federal Government. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
* Build production-grade APIs that work in legacy environments.
* Develop and maintain APIs and integration services.
* Implement data transformation and orchestration logic.
* Optimize API performance, reliability, while ensuring compliance with IRS security policies.
* Collaborate with engineers and UI customers to drive practical solutions.
* Write automated tests and technical documentation.
* Implement infrastructure-as-code.
* Harden environments for ATO compliance.
*Qualifications: *
Technical Skills:
* Bachelors, Masters, or PHD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Note: Experience in lieu of an advanced degree is acceptable.
* Certification in cloud technologies such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture principles, design, security, and cost optimization.
* Backend development (Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, .NET, Python).
* Frontend development (React, Angular, Vue, JavaScript).
* Databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Azure).
* DevOps management (Docker, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
* Federal coding security and data sharing practices.
* Debugging distributed systems.
* Security tooling (Splunk).
Bonus Experience:
* Experience integrating (or developing automations that interact with) IRS systems (e.g., CADE, IMF, BMF, IDRS, etc.).
* Demonstrated understanding of government data governance constraints.
* Proven accomplishments in customer service, client success, or relationship management roles.
* Experience implementing OCR/DU-enabled workflows.
* Prior ATO experience.
* Experience with: Oracle, Databricks, AWS, Azure.
