What We're Looking For:

A Senior Engineer, Collaboration Services who will play a key role in designing, enhancing, and supporting our cloud collaboration ecosystem. You'll bring deep expertise in Microsoft 365 and related technologies to deliver secure, scalable, and high‑performing solutions that empower our team members across the organization. In this role, you will not only troubleshoot and maintain critical collaboration services, but also drive automation, improve user productivity, and help shape our strategic roadmap for modern workplace technologies.

What You'll Do:

Deliver subject matter expertise on M365 and cloud collaboration platforms, including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Purview and Copilot.

Design and develop automated solutions using out‑of‑the‑box features to improve operational efficiency

Administer email security with a focus on Cloud security and protection platforms like Proofpoint and Ironscales

Partner with the Senior Manager and Senior Lead Engineer to implement, maintain, and advance the Collaboration Services strategic roadmap

Execute essential operational processes such as daily maintenance, hardware and software upgrades, patch management, and standard system configuration

Develop and maintain detailed designs and architectural diagrams of supported SaaS infrastructure

Collaborate with technology teams and vendors to define, develop, and maintain standards, baselines, architecture, and documentation

Engage vendors and internal IT teams to identify, diagnose, and resolve Collaboration Services incidents and problems

Establish and uphold best practices to ensure compliance with Governance and Security standards, IT processes, principles, and best practices

Provide support for Collaboration Services requests submitted by business users

Create user documentation and training materials to support Tier 1 assistance and self‑service learning

Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies that enhance collaboration and communication capabilities

Assist with adjacent areas of support, including ServiceNow, Domain and Public DNS management, and conference room A/V systems

Communicate effectively across technical and functional teams to ensure clarity and alignment

Maintain regular attendance in conformance with standards

Work varying schedules as needed to support business operations

Attend/complete all required training and meetings

Perform other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications Include:

Bachelor's degree, technical degree, or equivalent relevant experience

Relevant Microsoft and SaaS solutions certifications

5+ years of experience in an enterprise IT environment

5+ years of hands‑on M365 engineering and support experience

Deep knowledge of email management, data lifecycle management, email security and protection

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Extensive experience in:

Migration for M365 products (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online - Hybrid)

M365 development and administration

Implementation of M365 security and compliance policies and best practices

Email privacy and regulatory compliance

Proficiency with PowerShell

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Dataverse)

Basic understanding of JavaScript, Python and Visual Studio

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Productivity Suite, particularly Office

Understanding of security standards and best practices

Basic knowledge of Azure and Identity Management technologies

Experience with Email Security and Advanced Threat Protection tools

Experience in the travel or hospitality industry preferred

Strong focus on delivering an exceptional end‑user experience

Excellent problem‑solving and resolution capabilities

Ability to effectively manage time, competing priorities and workloads in a fast-paced environment

Must be capable of working independently, with strong organizational skills, as well as collaboratively, and take a proactive approach and anticipate needs

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with diverse individuals

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally

Salary range for this position, based on experience, is $92,000.00 to $115,000.00.
