Job Title: Accountant and Financial Analyst (Hybrid Role)
Location: United States (Remote) Preferred locations: Salt Lake City, UT | Jacksonville, FL | Las Vegas, NV | Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
Job Summary:
The Accountant & Financial Analyst is a hybrid role supporting core accounting functions alongside financial planning and analysis. Ideal for a high-performing finance professional, this position offers exposure to full-cycle accounting while contributing to forecasting, financial modeling, and insightful analysis.
You’ll play a key role in month-end close processes, ensuring financial accuracy and delivering actionable insights that drive profitability and operational efficiency for key stakeholders.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist with the month-end close processes
Prepare and post journal entries and accruals
Assist with inventory and cost tracking
Reconciles and files sales tax returns.
Assist in the preparation of financial reporting and variance analysis with key stakeholders
Support annual budgets and quarterly forecast updates
Partner with Operations (Technology, Warehouse, Marketing) to monitor performance
Support cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis
Analyze gross margin by SKU and Channel
Required Skills/Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
3-5 Years of accounting/finance experience
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in face paced environment
Preferred Experience:
Experience with ERP systems (Sage, QuickBooks, etc.)
Experience with intercompany accounting.
Experience in consumer goods or manufacturing, and understanding of sales tax
Experience with BI Tools (Power BI, Power Query, Tableau, etc.)
