Job Description

Responsibilities:

• The Cloud Platform / DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and operating CI/CD pipelines and managing cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• This role focuses on infrastructure provisioning, platform reliability, automation, and secure deployment of cloud native workloads.
• The engineer will work closely with application, data, and security teams to ensure scalable, resilient, and observable platforms across environments.
• Terraform build experience. Google Cloud Platform. Infrastructure as Code. Google cloud build.
• Key responsibilities include CI/CD pipeline creation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GKE cluster operations, and managing core GCP services such as Pub/Sub, API Gateway, logging, and monitoring.
• Design, implement, and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of new technologies and systems.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical support to end-users, addressing and resolving any IT-related issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance system performance and security.
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Systems Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, server administration, and system security.
• Proficient in implementing and managing virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their associated services.
