We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled System Engineer to join our innovative technology team. * Design, develop, and implement comprehensive system architectures that incorporate service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and solution architecture principles.
* Manage and optimize IT infrastructure components including operating systems (Windows, Linux), virtualization platforms (VMware, ESXi), and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
* Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages to streamline system administration tasks.
* Ensure system security through system hardening, vulnerability assessments, threat intelligence integration, and implementing robust network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, DNS management, load balancing, and cloud security protocols.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with tools like Jenkins and Git.
* Oversee database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB to ensure data integrity and performance.
* Conduct troubleshooting and debugging of complex systems involving RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, JavaScript frameworks (React Express), C#, Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, and other programming languages.
* Perform system monitoring through tools such as Nagios or Zabbix to proactively identify issues related to load balancing, system performance, or security vulnerabilities.
* Implement disaster recovery plans by configuring virtualization solutions like VMware or Hyper-V and managing system backups with WDS or similar tools.
* Maintain documentation for system design diagrams using UML or similar standards while adhering to SDLC best practices for software development lifecycle management.

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in systems engineering with a strong understanding of system design principles across diverse environments including cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and on-premises infrastructure.
* Hands-on expertise with service-oriented architecture (SOA), solution architecture design, microservices development, and API management (RESTful API & SOAP).
* Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash shell scripting, PowerShell; experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins and Git for CI/CD workflows.
* Deep knowledge of operating systems including Windows Server and various Linux distributions; familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware ESXi or Hyper-V.
* Strong understanding of computer networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, load balancing strategies, firewalls, VLANs and network security best practices.
* Experience working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle Database Management System (DBMS), NoSQL databases; knowledge of SQL/T-SQL queries is essential.
* Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes; experience with Web services (REST & SOAP), XML/JSON data formats is preferred.
* Knowledge of cybersecurity principles including system hardening techniques, vulnerability management processes and threat intelligence analysis.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on debugging complex issues across distributed systems; ability to work effectively within Agile teams following SDLC methodologies.
