Founded in 1954 as Center Medical Hospital, Kentfield Hospital- now a subsidiary of American Advanced Management-is a Long-Term Acute care Hospital (LTACH) serving patients across two locations in Marin County and San Francisco. Our 60-bed facilities specialize in caring for individuals with critical or chronic complex medical conditions who require extended recovery periods.

*JOB SUMMARY: *

Responsible for providing efficient, quality-oriented patient care within the scope of the department's policy/procedure manual. Performs support activities such as equipment maintenance, changes, inventory, and sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness. We currently have positions available in both our San Francisco and Kentfield locations. We're looking for full-time candidates for AM shift, PM shift, and Part-time in both our San Francisco and Marin locations. New RT Graduates are encouraged to apply! *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Identify learning needs and teach patients and families. Ability to communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams and individuals. *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*

* Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program required.
* Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment required.
* Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.

*ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:*

* One (1) year critical care and/or artificial airway and ventilator care experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image.
* Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
* Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
* Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions. Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

*CERTIFICATES, LICENSURES, REGISTRATIONS:*

* Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment required.
* Documented proof of obtained degrees for regulatory compliance purposes.
* Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required.

*ATTENDANCE: *Regular and punctual attendance.

*LANGUAGE SKILLS: * English is the primary language of the facility. Ability to read and write, communicate clearly with co workers and customers and to respond to appropriate questions regarding work process or work product.

Pay: $49.82 - $60.75 per hour
