Project Manager

Jessica Gersten Design is a luxury interior design firm focused on high end residential projects internationally. We are currently seeking an experienced and exceptional Intermediate Interior Designer to assist with multiple residential projects from concept to install. The ideal candidate will have at least 6-8 years of full time professional design experience in the luxury market and have both strong AutoCAD skills and FF&E experience. This is an in person position in our NYC design studio.
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

JOB REQUIREMENTS

OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

* Strong communication skills and be able to problem solve under pressure
* Design and deliver large scale residential projects often with challenging deadlines
* Experience designing custom furniture
* Manage all FF&E procurement for the projects
* Maintaining detailed budget spreadsheets
* Work to project budgets, and exercise value engineering solutions where needed
* Experienced at sourcing high end finish materials.
* Producing drawings, elevations and floor plans in AutoCAD
* Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to multitask.
* Ability to travel to international job sites
* Excellent presentation skills and heavy client interaction, both verbal and written

REQUIRED AND DESIRED SKILLS

* 6-8 years of experience in luxury residential design
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
* Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe and MS Office, REVIT ideal
* Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and ensuring timely delivery of designs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
