Role Overview:
You will lead full-stack development efforts, design scalable architecture, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance and integrate an existing web-based system.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead backend development using Java (8+), Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate
Design and build RESTful APIs and integrate external systems via SOAP/REST services and messaging platforms (JMS, RabbitMQ, etc.)
Develop responsive front-end components using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap
Support data migration efforts involving DB2, PostgreSQL, Oracle
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven/Gradle)
Perform unit and automated testing (JUnit, Mockito, Selenium)
Leverage AI-assisted development tools for code generation, transformation (COBOL to Java), automated testing, and security scanning (Highly Desired)
Required Experience:
10+ years in backend Java development
4+ years in frontend technologies
Strong database and SQL expertise
Integration and messaging platform experience
DevOps/CI/CD experience
Agile team collaboration
Highly Desired:
Mainframe modernization experience
AI in the development lifecycle
Data migration experience
React/Angular exposure
