Job Description

Company Overview
At GrowthZone, your mission is our mission. We wake up every day to serve our customers—building modern, all-in-one software that empowers associations to grow faster, engage members more deeply, and operate more efficiently. As a trusted technology partner, we’re committed to helping membership-based organizations—chambers, trade associations, and nonprofits—amplify their impact through smart, scalable solutions. With thousands of customers across North America, GrowthZone is redefining what association management software can do. Our platform streamlines day-to-day operations with intuitive tools for billing, communication, websites, events, reporting, and more—backed by a team that understands the unique challenges associations face and is invested in their success.

We’re a fast-growing SaaS company with a strong customer base, an expanding product ecosystem, and a bold vision for the future. We combine purpose with performance—driven by innovation, collaboration, and a shared belief that when associations thrive, communities thrive.

Lead Software Engineer (Full Stack)
We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to help drive the technical direction and execution of our software platform. In this role, you’ll operate as a senior individual contributor — guiding architecture decisions, mentoring engineers, and partnering closely with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-impact solutions. You’ll play a key role in helping GrowthZone scale by balancing strong technical leadership with hands-on development in a collaborative SaaS environment.

A typical day involves leading complex engineering initiatives, reviewing design decisions, and helping teams move quickly while maintaining high standards for quality and reliability. You’ll collaborate across functions to align technical solutions with business goals, unblock challenging technical problems, and help shape architecture that supports long-term growth. Beyond writing code, you’ll influence how work gets done — improving engineering practices, mentoring teammates, and helping ensure delivery remains predictable and aligned with strategic priorities.

After one year, you’ll know you were successful if:
Your team delivers complex initiatives with greater predictability, improved system performance, and fewer high-severity issues.
You’ve helped define and communicate a clear architectural direction that reduces technical debt and improves developer productivity.
Cross-functional partners view you as a trusted technical leader who brings clarity to complex trade-offs and decisions.
Engineers you mentor show measurable growth in ownership, autonomy, and technical capability.
This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving hard problems, influencing technical strategy, and helping teams operate at a higher level. You’ll have the opportunity to shape architecture, drive meaningful engineering improvements, and contribute directly to building a scalable, modern SaaS platform.

We invite you to apply now!
